Academic Offence Workshop
Do you want to know what’s considered an academic offence? Did you know that most academic offences are in fact unintentional? The most common academic offence is unintentional plagiarism.
The Student Success Center is hosting a workshop titled: “Cheating and other academic offences: everything you should know!” In the workshop, they will go over unintentional academic offences and Academic Code of Conduct.

Social Justice Theory Workshop
The Philosophy department’s Social Justice Center (and Centre de Recherche en Ethique from Université de Montreal) will be co-hosting a Social Justice Theory Workshop. Our own Dr. Pablo Gilabert will be a speaker at the event.
“The aim of the Social Justice Theory Workshop is to enable sustained exploration in the theory of social justice. It addresses topics such as the articulation of ideals and principles of economic, political, gender, race, environmental, and cultural justice; the critique of inequality, domination, exploitation, and alienation; and the illumination of political institutions, practices and processes of transformation that might foster progressive change.”
